How do I move my clients over from another platform?

Every platform worth leaving lets you export your client list as a CSV. Colossus imports that file directly, so you are not retyping names.

1. Export your clients from your current platform

   Look for an export or download option on the client list. You want a CSV with at least a name and an email address per client. Anything else it gives you is a bonus.

2. Open Clients, then Import

   In the dashboard sidebar, go to Clients and choose the import option. Upload the CSV.

3. Map the columns

   Match each column in your file to the field it belongs to. Email is the one that matters, because it is how each person is invited and how duplicates are detected.

4. Review before you commit

   The importer shows you what it is about to create, including rows it cannot read. Fix those in the file and upload again rather than letting them through half-formed.

5. Send the invitations

   Each client gets an email invitation with a link. When they accept, they land in your client list and the app is free for them to use.

Worth knowing

• Importing a client does not charge them anything. Coaching fees are between you and them, and the app itself is free to train on.
• If a client already has a Colossus account under that email, the import links to the existing account instead of creating a second one.
