Multi-language platform
Eight locales across web, mobile, and email, including isiZulu, isiXhosa, and Afrikaans. Absent from every coaching competitor.
- Eight locales at full parity, including three South African languages
- Same language field drives webapp, mobile, and transactional emails
- isiZulu, isiXhosa, and Afrikaans absent from every direct competitor
- Locale picker on every auth page and inside settings
- CI-enforced parity so a new English string can't ship without translations
Eight locales at full parity
en-ZA (canonical South African English), Afrikaans, isiZulu, isiXhosa, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, and German. Every string a coach or athlete sees on the web dashboard, in the mobile app, or in a transactional email is translated. The same language preference on each user profile drives all three surfaces, so the experience is consistent end-to-end.
South African languages no competitor ships
isiZulu and isiXhosa are first languages for roughly 40 percent of South Africans. Afrikaans is the first language of another 13 percent. None of the major coaching platforms in the market (Kahunas, Trainerize, 1FIT, Everfit) translate into any of the three. Colossus is built for South African coaches first, and this is the most visible part of that posture.
Every transactional email translates too
Booking confirmations, password resets, payout receipts, payment receipts, team invitations, refund notices, and reminder emails all render in the recipient's chosen locale. A coach who picks Afrikaans never sees an English email arrive in their inbox.
CI-enforced parity
New strings can't ship in English-only by accident. The build enforces translation parity across all eight locales, so the experience never drifts to "English plus seven half-translated copies."
