Broadcast messaging

Compose one announcement, send to your whole roster (or a tagged slice) over push, chat, and email. Throttle-safe, retractable, tier-bundled.

  • Three channels (push, chat, email) - any combination per broadcast
  • Audience by all-active, tag filter, or manual selection
  • Per-client 24-hour throttle shared with the automation engine
  • 15-minute chat retract window for the typo you spotted post-send
  • Soft warn at 3 broadcasts in 24h, hard block at 5 (Colossal+ overrides)
  • Studio admin can broadcast across every teammate's roster

Channel picker, not channel lock-in

Push for the heads-up that needs to surface on a lock screen. Chat for the message you want to land in the same thread the athlete already uses with you. Email for the longer note that benefits from sitting in an inbox. Toggle the three independently per broadcast. The default is push + chat on, email off - because email is the most intrusive channel and shouldn't be the unthinking pick.

Audience by tag, not just by everyone

Tags on clients already drive your automation conditions. They drive broadcast targeting too: pick a tag, hit send, the broadcast goes only to clients with that label. Or pick clients individually from a searchable list. The recipient set is materialised at dispatch time for tag and "all active" audiences, so the roster reflects who's active when the broadcast fires (not who was active when you composed it). Manual picks survive roster churn.

The throttle is shared with automations

The same per-client 24-hour messaging cap that prevents an automation loop from spamming a client also caps broadcasts. If a client has already received their daily ceiling of messages from you, the broadcast queues for them and dispatches once their cap clears. Past the broadcast's max-queue window the delivery is recorded as skipped and surfaces in the sent history with a clear reason. The cap holds regardless of which path (automation, manual chat, broadcast) sent the prior messages.

Retract within 15 minutes

Spotted a typo or sent to the wrong audience? The 15-minute chat retract sweep soft-deletes every chat message produced by the broadcast. Push and email can't be retracted - once a phone shows the banner or an inbox lands the message, that's it - but the chat copy is recoverable.

Studio team broadcasts

Owners and admins on Studio can flip an audience option to "every teammate's roster" and reach the whole gym's clients in one shot. The per-client throttle still applies (so a teammate's chatty coach doesn't double-blast a shared client), and the team activity log records who sent the broadcast.

The pricing

Bundled into your tier with a monthly cap: Pro gets 50 broadcasts a month, Colossal + Studio are unlimited. Basic-tier coaches see an upgrade nudge in the composer. The 5-in-24h hard block exists on Pro and below to protect the no-spam invariant; Colossal and Studio admin/owner override it.
