Earned, not gamed
Every badge maps to a behaviour worth reinforcing: completed sessions, logged check-ins, PR ledger entries, habit streaks, and body-composition milestones. The platform auto-detects them, so an athlete can't grind unrelated metrics into a badge.
Five tiers per badge
Bronze, silver, gold, platinum, and diamond. Five tiers, bounded so the progression actually means something. Each tier shifts colour, gets its own shareable card, and surfaces in the athlete's badge wall.
Thirty categories
Athletes earn across workouts, personal records, volume lifted, cardio distance, steps, hydration, nutrition logs, habit and workout streaks, recovery sessions, progress photos, check-ins, body-weight logs, community posts, and membership tenure. Coaches have their own tracks for active clients, revenue, payouts, five-star reviews, qualified referrals, published programs and content, bundles sold, broadcasts sent, and coaching tenure. Each category is a separate progress track, so an athlete who's strong on consistency but weak on PRs still sees their consistency badges level up regardless.
The celebration
When a badge fires, an in-app celebration sheet pops the moment it happens, not three days later in a digest. Tap to share, tap to dismiss. The PR-moment surfacing happens at the same time the badge unlocks, in the same animation pass.
